Introducing new equipment to help intelligent manufacturing

2019-06-14

"If you want to do your job well, you must first sharpen your tools." In order to further improve the production efficiency of workshop welding and improve production processes, Keeyun keeps pace with the times and actively introduces modern technology and equipment

Our leaders and technicians once made a special trip to Kitakyushu, Japan, to inspect the robot production line of Yaskawa Electric. Although robots are mostly used for large-scale batch operations, in order to implement the idea of intelligent manufacturing, Keeyun uses it for non-standard single-piece small-batch order production. Recently, the company's first new Japanese YASKAWA welding robot has been debugged. After active learning and continuous exploration by technicians, the equipment has been put into use and has begun to generate benefits.

The effect of the new equipment is obvious: first of all, the improvement of welding quality. When using robot welding, since the welding parameters of each weld, such as current, voltage, welding speed, etc., are constant, the welding quality is stable, and the weld is more neat and beautiful. When welding manually, the welding speed, weld length, etc. will change due to factors such as fatigue, distraction or technical level of the person, so it is difficult to achieve uniformity of quality and precision. When using robot welding, workers only need to load and unload workpieces, set welding parameters and motion trajectories, and let the robot move according to instructions. The original single manual operation becomes an automated intelligent operation, freeing workers from high-intensity physical labor, reducing labor intensity, improving production efficiency, and also staying away from welding arcs, smoke and splashes.

With the successful trial of the first robot, the company will purchase more robots in succession to create intelligent production lines, maximize productivity, improve product quality, meet various production needs and adapt to future new product development, and create better economic benefits.
